One of the Best 4 Pocket Coats?

For 15+ years, I've paired a wonderful old Orvis wind/rain coat with a fleece to give me a great Fall/Spring jacket. From time to time I'd look for a replacement. I wanted 4 external pockets, hand warmers, phone-sized pocket or napoleon at chest height, drawstring waist to keep the the wind out, double-zipper, all together with light to moderate insulation. Not so easy to find. I even spent too much money on the "high-priced brand" with the name for quality and endurance. But no useable phone pocket. Really, they STILL can't figure this out in 2026?? The Outback is probably the ideal solution. It checks all the boxes and does so with quality execution and smart design. Great phone storage, good fit, one of the better double zippers I've owned, good fabric, and the right amount of insulation. I'd buy another ... or one for a son or daughter. Highly recommended. Great company; great product.

This jacket is perfect for the damp, cool weather on the west coast ! I’m still getting used to it, but really appreciate all the roomy pockets. I also like the understated dark green colour !

My new outback jacket

I ran into a little trouble on my first purchase. I normally wear extra large but by the size chart it showed me wearing large so I purchased large had to return to get extra large if it’s perfect love the jacket thank you.
