Works perfectly. The old extension broke…once I got the “stubborn to remove” slotted retainer nut off(heat, PB, heat,PB etc) we were in business. Amazing how much better the crank works when you have the spring, spacer and washers that are supposed to be in there.

it worked like \ it was supposed to. The only issue was that the diagram wasn't correct. The diagram didn't show the threads (on the shaft) that the collar threads on to, just the 5/8" nut threads at the end of the shaft. So it took a little bit of time to figure out that the "collar" threads were stripped. Got the trailer back to the owner with the fix. He was happy.
