The Deering Banjo Mute really fits perfectly and softens my Deering banjo guitar. I use guitar picks and find that I can do more with the instrument if it is not as bright and not as loud. I call it a "Works Donut. "

Works well

Is the black inner liner supposed to be sticky? I assumed it would be a nice felt or something. Still, it works nicely, and i think actually improves the tone of my banjo uke.

Get the other one.

It basically requires modifying to work properly.
