Great for sport swimming

I was initially disappointed because I felt these ran too small, but I tried them the next day and decided they were worth a shot. I wanted an alternative to the Dolfin tech fabric swim shorts that were a little bit more comfortable in the waist. These did a great job swimming in the ocean, then walking all over the boardwalk after. I took the XL at 5'5" and 200 pounds but I usually wear a L in bike or swim shorts because my thighs and butt are very small. I will wear these for serious lap swimming and open water racing, but I think they are comfortable enough to use as a casual swim short, too. I wish there were more colors!
