I love that it simply fixes into the existing car belt fastener and is simple to attach to the dog. The dog can move but is not free. The adjustable length for every size dog is great.

safe and not too tight
WE like this seat belt. It holds our dog safe in the back seat without restraining her to an uncomfortable extent for her. She can still move around a little to see out the windows. The major drawback is that twice in one week she stepped in the seatbelt and unlocked herself. My husband jury-rigged a solution with a tennis ball that covers the coupling site between the belt and the car buckle, and that has seemed to work.
