Great! But the cable is stupid.

The sound quality is absolutely brilliant. Very flat, with a boost in the high-end presence. Great sound stage, and depth perception. What I find awful is the adapter situation. I mean seriously?!?! What it is: XLR > ¼” | ¼” > ⅛” What it should be: XLR > ¼” [OR] XLR > ⅛” Why would you want to have two adapters daisy chained?!?! You have the XLR, just make both adapters terminate to an XLR! The male ¼” to female ¼” connection is ugly, bulky, outdated, unnecessary, and downright infuriating. Also, not-picky I know, but not even genuine Neutrik parts for the cable terminations… They feel so cheap and rubbish. Swapped mine out for genuine Neutrik connectors and it gave me that premium feel and reliability/longevity of what you would *expect* from headphones that cost over $1,000!!!

Great sound

So much more detail than my previous studio phones. I'm getting used to the hefty feel, they're comfortable enough and who cares anyway. . . when they sound this good.

Great sounding headphones

Great sound out of the box. Bass is great but could maybe use some eq depending on how noticeable you want you bass to be. Wouldn’t mind if treble were also clearer and sharper too. But it’s great for video games. For sure.
