Disappointing

I have never been able to find a face mask that doesn't react horribly with my skin, so I was very excited to try this one, as all of the other toups & co products I have used have worked wonderfully for me. Unfortunately, this one still isn't it. I used it twice, both times with nothing other than natural goat milk soap to prep and pure tallow to moisturize afterwards, neither of which have ever hurt my skin. The first time I used it, I just mixed it with water, but it almost immediately made my face red and raw, which lasted for several days. I decided to give it a few months before giving it up as I was still in the process of switching to all natural products, but on the second use the exact same thing happened. This time I tried using honey instead of water because I heard it is good for acne. The raw feeling didn't last as long as it did the first time, but was still very painful while it lasted. I am giving it more than one star because I know my face is especially sensitive, but I don't think that this should be advertised as safe for sensitive skin. I am still so glad that I have found toups & co and plan to continue to buy their other products, as it is one of the few companies with which I have had the pleasant surprise that everything else I have tried from them has been quality and very gentle on my skin.
