This was an easy but slightly time-consuming project to do. The bag turned out great! The instructions were clearly written and was accompanied with clear photos. I had two attempts, the first using a thin vinyl coated fabric and the second using a fairly thin leather. I cut the fringing by hand using scissors specially for leather. Next time I would probably make the fringing a little bit longer, as I kept dropping the leather when I was tying the knots. The knot tying does take time and one needs to work methodically. I did not braid the strap, but next time I would like to try the jewel braid, for which additional instructions are given. I finished off the front of the bag with a beaded decoration, similar to that in the photo. In all, an “oh so cute” little bag that my little ladies are going to love and one that I enjoyed making.
