I was skeptical but after trying this method of cleaning by Ceado coffee grinder, I’m a believer. Super easy to use, the particles clear out well with only a moderate loss of coffee beans.

Didn’t need to adjust burrs to use
OK, up front, I tried this brand because every other grinder cleaner I’ve used with my machine required increasing the spacing between the burrs to use. This meant several readjustments to find the previous setting. This product is already a course grind as it comes from the packet. There was no problem using it without moving my espresso grind settings. I followed instructions to remove all beans, empty one packet into the grinder, refill and run two filter baskets (I used a 20 gram basket) through and discard. There were a few cleaner grains that came through in the third basket but I ignored them and used the grind. I did use a brush to push through some of the cleaner left in the hopper after it’s first cleansing run. It’s easy to use. I’m using Nicoletti’s light to medium espresso roast so there is no significant buildup of oils on the burrs. It will be after 6 or 12 months of use that I can comment on the efficiency of this product to keep the burrs clean without having to disassemble and clean the burrs directly. The first photo shows the packet of ECM Grinder Cleaner in the hopper before opening the hopper cutoff. The course ness of the grind can be appreciated. The second photo is of the third basket to be ground. Almost no cleaner particles can be seen. The third photo is of the first basket of grind with cleaner particles mixed.
