Whistler (Black Kip)

These are a nice, dressier alternative to the Easy Escapes (which I have worn daily for the last six years). The style differs more from the regular boot than I expected based on the pictures: the uppers are not quite a standard chelsea, having another stitched layer around the inner ankle. Attention was given to every detail. I’m very happy with the looks. Still breaking them in. My last pair of Redbacks took a couple of weeks since the leather is so thick, and these are not any thinner. Stitching is just as stout as the workboots. I expect they’ll last forever.

Great but didn’t fit me well

These boots are absolute quality, but unfortunately for me the fit in my normal size didn’t match. The heel digs into both my feet and broke skin from my heel. The fit on the toe box is too tight on me after walking a few steps. Will try to break them in but the heel makes it difficult to walk without pain.

I think the sizes run a little small. I ordered 8.5 UK (what I wear in Blundestone) and returned for 9 UK, which are snug but I think will break in wonderfully. Return process was easy. Shoes are super comfortable and look great.
