Chicago Hardy Fig Tree

New tree, New adventure

Overall is exciting have a fruit tree, I’m waiting the time when this starting giving its fruit, for now the planting experience was good, I followed all instructions and I think the plant is responding very well, I check it out every day and look healthy and good color.

Not a Charlie Brown tree

I had my fingers crossed when I ordered the 5 gallon Chicago Hardy fig tree. It arrived quickly and appeared in very good shape. I followed instructions and transplanted into a larger wheeled container as I will be moving it into my garage before winter. I am also very pleased with customer support. They guided me during the transplant and explained growing expectations. Their prompt and friendly responses had me believing I was actually speaking with real people. Bottom line, I am trying to decide what my next tree purchase will be.

The tree arrived in good shape in a timely manner, I have never had a fig tree before, I have moved it a couple of times trying to figure where it needs to be to start growing. I bought it for my 94 year old mother who is the gardener in the family. She thinks it should be growing faster and our soil may not be right for it.
