Moorpark Apricot Tree

Arrived in perfect condition and thriving

It arrived strong and healthy, and after repotting in a big 22 inch pot, it seems to be thriving - hasn't lost a single leaf! This variety of apricot is a source of fond childhood memories. Family trips each summer to the Okanagan Valley in B. C. Canada to get the best fruit ever right from the farmers. No store-bought apricot ever came close to the taste of those farmstand apricots. I'm hoping that within a year or two I'll be enjoying that taste again!

It just arrived a few days ago. Sure is short!! Hopefully it will survive this heat wave before I get it planted!

Took a while since it was originally order last fall. Notified would be shipped in the spring. Finally after calls in almost early summer they informed me that they were out of stock for the taller trees and refunded credit. Then I ordered the shorter tree since they would not be having any taller trees to ship. I am waiting for a shipment of a rainier cherry tree that is a replacement for the cherry tree that never made it through the winter. It will be years before I enjoy any fruit since I am 90 years old. My childen, grandchildren and great grandchildren hopefully will enjoy the fruit. Will be needing to replace a peach tree that never made it also, but I haven't taken the time to take a picture and notify. Will do it soon!

A cool find

This tree was well packed and arrived healthy and is thriving in its forever location. I had one apricot on it at tge beginning of the season but the squirrels robbed me.
