Took too long to fit and then decided not to refit at my destination

Fitted it for the first time at the weekend to a Ribble gravel bike size small. It took 30 minutes to fit over the bike as it just would not slide over the tyres. After much sweat it finally was on but I found one of seams had already started to come apart. This was all done in my garage. After my bike ride at destination I couldn’t face trying to fit it again outside so it got thrown into the back of the van and I had to drive back home with no cover on the bike. As this is the bike I use 95% of the time I don’t think it is practical for me to use it again
