Cortez Gold
I tend to brew extract beers early in the year because it’s too cold to be outside brewing for 4hrs. I vary the method slightly, ferment at 19 degrees and add hops when fermentation has finished and temp allowed to drop. Then leave for between 4 & 6 days before kegging / bottling. The bottles I leave for at least 8 weeks. This brew is very drinkable but given 4 stars because I think it needs even longer to condition. For me Bulldog brews take some beating. This is the first time I’ve brewed this one but Bad Cat and Evil Dog are stalwarts for me.

Evil dog is a great double IPA
Easy to brew and a cracking beer. Drink it all year round.

Great kits
I recently made the Evil Dog Double IPA but unfortunately used my small neck fermenter and spilled some of the contents of the bag, however it's still turned it at just over 8.5% abv. The next time I make this I'll use a conventional fermenter, and it should be closer to the 9.1% I got the very first time I made this brew several years ago 😀
