Beautiful uke

Well made and beautiful. I did change strings to Worth Brown low g and it sounds wonderful. It sounded fine before, but I think it sounds great now.

An absolutely beautiful ukulele!

I’m very pleased with this new tenor ukulele. Shannon did a great job in picking out the options for the splatted back and finish. The tone is very nice as well. The finish of the bridge could have been better and I was a little disappointed that the side of the neck only has one inlay at the seventh fret. Overall I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend Sound Smith to anyone looking for a quality ukulele.

Outstanding instrument... Shannon has done it again!

This is my fourth purchase from Sound Smith and I could not be happier! Of my four Sound Smith instruments, this Songbird Concert model is my favorite! It plays well, it projects better than a standard concert model, due to it's arched back, it has all the electronics (as well as a tuner) built in, and it sounds amazing set up as low G! (Which Shannon masterfully did for me before this bad boy shipped out!) She even took care of perfectly installing the pair of strap buttons I ordered. You will also love the case this particular model comes in, too. I know she chose the low G set she installed as she always knows which brands/types of strings sound best on the particular Uke you purchased! These Aquila Reds perfectly compliment the tone and cosmetically look wonderful on this already gorgeous instrument! You definitely should consider adding either the Songbird Concert or Tenor size model (only $10 more than the Concert!) to your arsenal! I feel like I have family in Bend, OR now! (Get the guest room ready!! LOL!) But in all seriousness.... Shannon treats her loyal (and even her NEW customers!) like a friend or family member! You will not find better treatment or serviced anywhere, even if you paid ten times the cost.
