The Best Built & Designed Cat Backpack

I made the mistake of first buying a cheaper online cat backpack and found that while the lack of features and quality was a negative, the uncomfortable fit was a deal breaker. There was a metal bar at bottom that dug into my waist and made it basically unwearable. The Navigator Backpack, on the other hand is very well build, has many convenient features, and is comfortable to wear, even with my big 16lbs cat in it. He also fits much better in this roomier backpack. Excellent overall and highly recommended!

Great for a larger cat!

Our 13 pound cat struggled to feel comfortable in other backpacks but he had no issues adjusting to this one. The basin is deep and sturdy enough, allowing him the sense of security to lounge while out and about. The mesh allows good visibility even when closed. The backpack is comfortable to wear, with support straps that help on longer hikes. Appreciate the size and number of pockets as well.

Absolute joke of a product

First problem was the pack I ordered was extremely delayed past their stated online shipping times to where I had to email inquiring if my order was forgotten, and was given the excuse that they had a high volume of orders so shipping would be extra delayed (which I understand happens and I have no problem being understanding- but if that’s the case you should be informing your customers not just waiting to see if they notice) and then magically after that email exchange my order shipped out right away. I get the pack finally and am excited to use- on the FIRST use of only 45mins of gentle walking with my cat, he topples out of the carrier and the together inside connecting his harness to the pack completely SNAPS AND BREAKS OFF, to where my cat fell flat on the hot asphalt of a BUSY STREET with cars driving past. If my cat had bolted- he would have been hit by a car in seconds. Thank GOD my boy is well trained and doesn’t immediately panic so I was able to scoop him up. I reported the incident with pictures to customer service, and was met with an apology and a “we will see what we can do” after a week of hearing nothing back, I inquired again asking for just a refund of the product since it clearly is not safe to use and I’m not comfortable putting my sweet boy in danger. After that inquiry, I received a message back in only a day or so offering that they could send me a new base of the pack, but they made sure to emphasize it would just be the shell, no accessories or internal parts. I responded asking again for a refund on the product, I do not want a new pack! I don’t trust it and I would never recommend this to someone at this point. I have been ignored by the company for a couple weeks now. Absolute trash, do not spend any of your hard earned money here. I am appalled.
