The 4. 3 qt is a great flexible size for cooking for two or expanding to 4 or 6 when we have friends over. Heats and maintains heat very well for stews and sautés with no need to crank it up. Medium or lower works well for most things. Pan seared rib eyes with a butter herb garlic finish perfectly at between medium and medium high heat. A little heavier than the last one but still way better than cast iron and cleans up very easily. Recommend highly.
