Unbelievably comfortable when packed correctly. The Atom RE40 has become my new favourite pack, replacing my old Zpacks Arc Haul. Build quality is best in business. If I am carrying under 9kg, the RE40 just cannot be beaten. Shoulder straps are fantastic too. This is my third Atom Packs pack. I have tried many brands, but keep coming back to Atom.

Good backpack , poor hip strap fitting

Backpack itself is very good- I am very happy with it , the problem is a hip strap, I bought this separately and I am very very disappointed. Whoever’s idea was the hip strap fitting to the backpack should think again, the fitting is awful !! The hip strap falls off the backpack every 10-20 min, it is so annoying to stop walking and fix this . I understand you try to make money but common. The strap should be attached to the backpack permanently.

Atom RE40 why wouldn't you?

Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about this pack, I love the assortment of pockets and their ease of use, they all just work. The straps are really comfy over a few days walking. The workmanship is superb 👌 the pack is really well put together and absolutely worth the money. I combine mine with a Roo to carry odds and sods, its a winning combination.
