Great Marigold

Finally found a marigold that is great for garden beds, is pretty, compact and does not take over the bed and other plants. This marigold stays manageable and attractive for a very long time. I love it for planting in my vegetable garden beds to help deter certain pests - whether its the marigolds or not, I never seem to have a problem with tomato worms and helps with other pests as well. This is the first marigold that I have tried that does not get out of hand. Germination rate could have been better, although it was much better than the other marigolds I sowed this year. Once germinated it grew nicely and was easy to transplant. Has handled a summer of never ending rains and many consecutive days of high temps and humidity coupled with big temperature swings.

More Than I expected

I love the look of this plant. I'm not sure if the photo gives it justice. It's beautiful.

High germination rate. Plants are growing well and producing abundant blooms.
