The Cow Horn Okra is a 1860s Heirloom. A truly giant plant, for an okra or anything else, it can grow to a height of 8’. Pods can grow to 15”, although for eating, they are best picked at about 5”. Decent flavor and texture.

It's too soon to plant in my area due to recent ice/snow, unusual for Mississippi. Taking advantage of this warmer weekend to prep but I understand there is another cold blast coming the first weekend of February. I do love my packages in the mail from Pinetree!
