Beautiful
This is my first time buying from crow and pebble and to be quite honest I had mixed feelings about how the shades would look and whether they'd be dull and unimpactful. When I got my eyeshadow delivered today, I swatched most of them and was very disappointed because they just looked like a thin topper with no base and just shiny particles. I thought I'll try them out on my eyes because maybe I am wrong - and boy was I!!! No, these shades do not swatch well but they are so SO different on the eyes. I used an eyeshadow primer and put them on with a dense flat brush and they applied beautifully, blended in so smoothly and looked beautiful. I am actually really impressed. Yes using loose eyeshadow is a tiny bit more time consuming than pressed but I am so in love with my first look and I will definitely be buying more crowandpebble eyeshadow. I used Spice Agony, Whisky Priest, Caught the moonlight, It watches, A pupil of mine who turned evil and Alabaster Wool. This look reminds me of a very similar look I used to wear from the Kat von D interstellar palette. I am so thoroughly impressed that all I can say is do not go by others swatches on their wrist on reddit or other reviews because swatches on anywhere but the eyes will not do these eyeshadow justice. Alabaster wool I have put over Caught the Moonlight and it is so beautiful!
