Blank Page Eyeshadow Base

This works really well. Kind of wish I had gotten a bigger jar, but I just wanted to test stuff out from this brand before committing to bigger sizes. And I’m so happy that I did. This was my first order from crow and pebble and I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Perfect base for eyeshadow. Keeps the eyeshadow where it has to stay and blends well. Exactly my skin color so I use it also to camouflage under my eyes.

Not for oily eyelids, but excellent for under-eyes and dry skin!

My skin is super oily, which renders many eyeshadow bases/primers useless, since they crease easily. Both when used on its own and with the help of some trusted bases from other brands, the Blank Page base (Cotton shade) has creased quite quick. The consistency is very waxy in the pot it comes in, but it melts and blends out beautifully the second it touched the skin. While my oily lids are a problem, dryer eyelids will definitely work well with this base - if concealer doesn't crease on your lids much, then this will offer a lot more grip, a smoother and thinner layer, and a long-lasting effect. However, even with oily skin, the Blank Page base is really good for your under-eyes!!! I find that concealers and shadows tend to crease there for me a LOT, even with primers and bases underneath. Blank Page has mitigated the creasing completely, which is new and exciting for me!! Since it blends/sheers out well, I also find that it works for highlighting the eyebrow area, as long as it doesn't touch the crease. Overall a very good base, but your eyes need the right amount of dryness for it to work on the crease.
