Meat: A+ Delivery: D+

Grassroots consistently delivers authentic tasting products. In addition, we prefer to support small farms. But shipping: a problem. Our delivery was delayed a day, dry ice melted, meats thawed. Customer Service said “we’re not responsible “. The solution to this is more dry ice or longer lasting Coolant packs. I’m worried about reordering especially in warmer months.

Loved the lamb!

I made our favorite lamb dish - lamb stew with wild mushrooms, served over saffron risotto. The flavor of this lamb was amazing - very mild but rich. And it was so tender! Love Grass Roots! I forgot to take a pic - I will next time. :-)
