I had purchased one pair of cushioned solid basic socks prior to purchasing the "no cushioned socks. " I did like the cushioned socks but was curious about the no cushioned version. My house hold budget was also a determining factor for my purchase. The no cushioned socks were very comfortable. Please note that I plan to purchase cushioned socks in the future as well. Please also note that your socks have enabled me the benefits of quality footwear which accommodates my swollen feet. I did not know where to purchase socks otherwise. I owned 2 pair of socks purchased from Great Britain which literally were the only sock footwear that I could comfortably wear. Because of the extra cost of shipping, I just couldn't afford to purchase more. Wide Open socks are beautiful. One minor part I must bring to your attention is that the thin inside ban near the top of my Wide Open socks leaves an indentation which is not severe compared to what I have experienced with most socks I've worn in the past. The Great Britain socks have no bands. I didn't wear them regularly in order to maintain the life of the socks because I only had 2 pairs. Now, because of Wide Open socks I have more pairs. I can rely on good socks. Thank you for your product. PS. The Great Britain purchased socks are made by the company "Cosy Feet. "

Nice but...

Fabric of Wide Open socks is nice but was disappointed that it left an indentation on my legs. Thought that wouldn't be the case. Back to the drawing board to find socks that don't leave a mark.

Not wide open

I always have difficulty with finding a sock to stay up over my wider than usual calves. I like the cushion of the foot bed of the sock itself, but the calf of the sock is no different than any other standard size sock. It doesn’t pull up all the way, and it cuts off the circulation. I also bought some of the shorter socks, and they not only didn’t stay up, but they rolled down right after I started walking in them. Sorry, but I won’t buy anymore.
