Great socks with dress shoes!

Like all Darn Tough socks the fit is perfect and they are the most comfortable socks on the planet. The only reason for only 4 stars is they don't stay on with ALL my shoes. They are fine with my dress shoes but the heel slips when I wear them with my sneakers. But really, that's not what I bought these for so overall, they are great.

Straight Garbage.

I'm glad you asked because I've been looking for a reason to tell you: these socks are straight garbage. I bought them. The next day I got ready for work, and last thing before I leave the house, I put on my socks and loafers. The socks didn't even make it to the car. The heel fell down. It was an all-day issue. Every five steps I'm stopping and pulling my brand new socks back up. It was annoying to the point of annoying other people near me. I thought, "Hey, I'll give 'em a chance. I'll wash them and try them again. Maybe they're not great straight out of the package. " Yeah, that didn't make any difference. Straight under the heel again, all freakin' day. I hate them. I hate them a lot. Then, embarrassingly, I remembered I'd done the same maybe a year ago. . . ?? I'd bought other no-show socks from Darn Tough, and they too were awful. I did find a way to get them to stay on: I wore them under a pair of crew socks (from Falke). The Falke sock kept them in place. How stupid is that? You have to wear other socks over these socks just to get them to stay on! Ridiculous. This seems like a resolvable issue. I doubt I'll find out though. I can't imagine dropping this much money for socks that ruin my day again. If there were zero stars as an option, that seems more appropriate. One star is too much star-power for socks that can't manage to stay on feet.

Love the idea, but doesn't sta on my foot

The material is great and I love the style, but functionally these sag down the back of my heel and crumble up at the back of my shoe. I tried sizing down, but that was way too tight (I'm a tre size 11). I think that they're just a little too short so there's not enough to hold it up on my foot.
