These are cute and very well made. They have plenty of room for a high instep and don't hurt the tops of my feet. The insole that it comes with has excellent arch support and cushioning and they even include extra laces and a second thinner insole in case you need a little extra room. If these shoes were an actual width and came in half sizes they would be perfect. I wear a 7.5 wide in most shoes and size up to an 8 for width in others which may give me more width but are always slightly too long and never quite wide enough. After measuring my feet and following the wyder size chart I ordered a 7. Maybe it's the style of the shoe but they fit the exact same way as if I sized up to an 8 in a medium width shoe. Not quite what I had hoped for but at least they're leather and will break in and be wearable. It's not worth the hassle to return them.

Cute, trendy and comfy for bunions
This was my first pair from Wydr but won’t be my last. I have bunions, a high instep and wide feet. I’m usually a 7.5 W or 8 W in some brands, but after two recent pairs in Wide had to be returned for not being wide enough, I gave the Wydr Rue’s a try. They’re definitely wide enough, with a little room for an orthotic if needed, or thick socks in winter. Got the 7WW and it’s very comfy without putting pressure on my bunion at all. Plus, they don’t look like an orthopedic or “extra-wide” shoe. They still have that sleek, narrow “sneakerina” look that’s so fashionable right now. Very happy with these and I look forward to trying more in the future.
