Service Not Product Caused Downgrade

I have used this product in several locations where I moved. The day after ordering in my newest location I was told where I lived had water conditioning by the city and was not needed in my home. I immediately requested a hold on shipping, but it was sent anyway and my hold message not responded to for several days; AFTER the product shipped. I can handle the hassel of returns, but a 20% restocking fee and me paying shipping on an unopened box resulted in costing half what the original price was. Communication with Chris’s, once established, was courteous and informative. I’m far less than pleased.
