Great feeder but....

This a great bird feeder. The seeds remain dry and there is virtually no spillage on the ground. The only problem is with the hanging ring - if the feeder spins in the wind, it comes unscrewed in spite of the friction washer, and the whole feeder falls. The solution is to tether it to the pole - a small bungee through one of the drain holes and around the pole

This bird feeder is a gift for one of our daughters who is a birder. The bird feeder is still in the box as it is a Christmas gift. I am sure the birds will be very happy with this particular feeder!
