These turnips love Florida
I seeded these on Oct 19th and sort of forgot about them. The Greens grew like crazy, but, I wasn't sure what exactly I had planted because I didn't see any roots. Today, however, as I was moving some other plants, I brush the dirt on one plant and was shocked to see they had huge roots. I was looking for the tell-tale turnip popped up out of the soil, but these guys stayed under the dirt. The average was 12 to 14 ounces each. I will be growing these again! We will enjoy these for new years.

Tasty Turnips
These seeds came up well, but grew slow due to early cold snap in our area. What we did get harvested had an excellent mild, sweeter flavor than the purple top turnips. They have been good for eating raw.

not germinating
I planted these turnips and mixed them with purple top and only one out of the two sprouted, yet the white small sweet turnips grew further on in the sam row. Once again plenty of water has been poured on the plant that are along side spinach and radishes and carrots.
