My favorite onion
Very good germination. Big onions. Lasted in storage until March but only had a few left so I pickled them. I live 5 miles from the coast in northern California. The nights are cool and our day temps rarely go over low 70's. I already have this years crop in the ground. Love this onion.

Pretty solid!
Had pretty good success with these guys. I'd like to see better size in the future but they grew well and tasted great. Would like to try them again.

Great flavor, big size storage onion
Gorgeous deep red onions, almost purplish. While they seem to be less reliable in germination than my yellow onions, the ones that did germinate did fantastic as an overwintered onion in Northern New Mexico. I seed in August, transplanted in October, and harvested in June. I also do a Feb seeding for late summer harvest, but I prefer overwintering due to availability in the beds. This is the third year I’ve grown this variety and it’s one of the few intermediate red varieties.
