Miners lettuce
I planted Miners lettuce for the first time this year. It was a great addition to my garden. If you grow lettuce this is a great alternative to the regular lettuce that many of us grow.

Sneaky little plant-beloved by cats!
I broadcast a packet of miner's lettuce and I got a field of small green leaves. They are mild and a bit crispy and low maintenance. I put them in the sink to rinse and my orange brother cats were all over them. I got to filling a bowl for them as well as myself. Hands down their favorite green. They like other lettuce and chard but miner's lettuce is apparently the gold standard. Easy to grow and delicious. X Beth and the boys, Omar and Edvin

Seeds are sprouting
So far I’ve got 3 small clumps of miner’s lettuce going and growing in my garden. Looking forward to them getting bigger so I can start adding them to my salads and veggie dishes. Thanks for offering up these heirloom varieties.
