Early/Partial Review

Seeds were received in a timely fashion and in good condition. I sowed them and had 100% germination—obviously fresh seeds. Pro tip—soak them before sowing, 24 hours is good. Usually I sow sweet peas in the fall in my Zone 10a climate. I sowed these seeds a few weeks ago and they are now starting to climb. So…I don’t know exactly how they’ll turn out, but I’m sure they’ll be as advertised. Planting them this late, in my climate, just means they’ll be blooming much later than those fall planted ones. Sowing in the fall gives the plants extra time to form a strong root structure—it doesn’t freeze here.

Beautiful Color!

These are a lovely addition to my sweet pea varieties. I did not have anything this shade and they are beautiful in my planters. They frame the cat so well for photos too! :)

Glorious scent and color

Simple to grow; climbed up a small trellis and perfumed the nearby sidewalk with pretty blue flowers. Tip: the seed pods are easy to save at end of summer.
