MobilityPlus+ Nova Ultra-Light Carbon Folding Electric Wheelchair

This is my first move from manual to electric wheelchair. I was worried it would be too difficult to get in and out of my van, awkward to steer, less able to navigate small bumps and kerbs, or uncomfortable to use for a few hours. But I was wrong. In fact, none of those things caused a problem. Luckily, I drive a small van so I found I don't even need to fold the chair to get it in and out. I simply tip it so the front wheels are in and then lift the back (now most of the weight is supported) and roll it in. The steering definitely is a learning curve! But since the controls are so intuitive, I quickly got skillful with it. It copes with small bumps and tiny kerbs easily. Ramps also. I will say that I notice the effects of a camber in the pavement more than I used to so that was part of the learning curve. Surprisingly, it was comfortable enough to go for a day out, probably because it is not as strenuous and tiring as a manual chair. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to upgrade their mobility aid. It has made such a difference to me.

Enjoying using this chair. Comfortable for long sits. Easy to fold and unfold. Easy to manoeuvre. Not too heavy to lift in and out of vehicle. Love the colour! At least I can be seen, u like the standard black chairs which make going out in the evenings a nightmare.
