Great tea

Absolutely delightful. Full flavoured and complex, with a thick body at lower brewing temperatures.

Unusual & alluring

The aromatics are very nice. Complex, challenging and alluring. Part of them is reflected in the flavour. I couldn't pick it at first, but... I think it's like creaming soda! A kind of light, sweet, tingly flavour & aroma. However this aspect emerges from a "dark" flavour profile. The flavour and aroma really make me think of this as a nighttime tea. Also, I'm tasting a pleasant dry edge as I drink now. Moderately full. Nice level of complexity to explore. A combination of comfort, and otherly challenge!

Slightly sour but very tasty tea. I had no frame of reference when it comes to dark tea, so I was pleasantly surprised. In addition to astringency, it has malty and chestnut notes.
