Like the look, capacity, and functionality. Concerned about durability.

Five stars for now — no complaints yet, though durability remains to be seen. The bag looks sharp and holds more than expected. I wear it with a suit, and it pulls off the look well. One minor gripe: the zippers feel surprisingly light for a $400 bag. The website lists YKK hardware, which I have no reason to doubt, but they lack the solid, heavy feel I've come to expect from premium bags. Time will tell whether they hold up. Otherwise, a happy purchase.

Thank you Gary for making the waxed canvas version of this backpack available again! The leather and canvas look stunning together. As always I am in awe of how Waterfield Designs uses minimalism as a guiding principle— a clever life hack that simpifies daily carry while expressing a unique blend of old and new styles. This backpack is very comfortable to wear even when fully loaded. As an alternative to conditioners for leather care, I have found that the natural oils of my hands and fingers can keep full-grain leather moisturized and looking great. It’s refreshing to have a material on a bag that responds organically to its environment.

Fits my 15 inch MacBook Air, all my accessories, a water bottle, documents, and enough packing space for fresh shirts, underwear, toiletries etc. for a short trip. And it looks really elegant!
