Great mic ever

When looking for the perfect mic, there was one criteria that always stood out to me: how much I'd have to EQ it afterwards in the mix. I tried out a handful of excellent mics, but the Black Hole easily fits into a mix better than any I've tried. As someone who loves vintage mics, I didn't originally think the BH2 would be my go-to. But there's no better feeling than singing into it knowing I'll barely have to tweak it later - and that's what you get from the Black Hole! An innovative modern sound that's clear and crispy, while still retaining warmth and balance!

TITLE: Unique…in all the right ways. REVIEW: So far I’ve only been able to use my BH2 for a couple of vocal sessions and two voiceover recordings with different male talent. My first impression was that’s its sound is unique from any other mic I own…and in all the right ways. The low end is warm without being tubby. The mids are accurate with a nice presence. And the highs have some sparkle without being abrasive. I loved the way the BH2 sounded while recording. I loved it even more when it came time to mix. I got great results without touching an EQ. This crazy-looking microphone is a winner and will be my first choice for many projects.
