Il bkt going to be quite as harsh as the other reviewer but i ran into the same issue. The edge is 95% of the way to perfect, it jusy needs a little more time with higher grit sand paper or a piece of leather and rouge. Theres also a very small chip on the last 1” of the blade close to the handle. Overall a beautiful knife, for the price and way it was made 100% worth it. I’d give it 5 stars for me, but I know not everyone is passionate about maintaining their tools.

It would be a perfect knife if it didn't come damaged. There are two chipped places right on the blade. They can probably be worked out but it is a brand new knife so why should I have to do that. Also, I don't have the skill or patience to do that repair. Other than that I really love the knife. The quality control needs do be better. I couldn't imagine how this type of damage could have happened in shipping, so I can only assume it left the factory like that. I rushed to place my order before the prices went up due to tariffs, and skipped waiting for the 8th of the month give away of a free knife. I now regret rushing my order and now am hesitant to place another. My first order from last year, a AZUMASYUSAKU, fell apart before I ever even used it. In fact, I have still never used it. But the metal pin holding the metal head to the wooden handle popped out. I never took any action as it was a relatively easy fix, however, now I am concerned overall with this company's trustworthiness.
