Sound real good with ifi hip dac 3. Missing the four in xlr cord though

I've only been using the HD 820 for a few days, but they sound wonderful! Very open. I wouldn't believe they were closed-back phones in a blind test. The engineering with glass reflection into baffle works really well. There is no harshness, and I don't hear any muddy midbass. They are easy to use for many hours without fatigue. They seal well, even when wearing my glasses. The cables are excellent! I'm sure I will enjoy them even more as my ears adjust to their signature. The sale price made it an easy decision, and I have no regrets.
