Jungle Vallisneria Americana

The plants arrived in very poor condition and appeared nearly dead on arrival. Customer support advised me to wait another week, which means it will be over three weeks from the shipping date before I receive any resolution or even have viable plants in my aquarium. I understand that aquatic plants can experience some melting during acclimation, but these were effectively dead when they arrived and completely deteriorated within a week. I ordered 30 plants, and not a single one survived. They have fully disintegrated, leaving debris throughout my tank that I now have to clean up. Very disappointing experience, both with the condition of the plants and the length of time required to resolve the issue.

Hopeful but…

Shipping time frame was short and good weather. Was excited to get these going. When I opened them I was hoping there was just a lot of shipping melt but these guys did not rebound and continued to die. I also understand a fairly quick turnaround time for the DOA policy, but some people can’t even get to their packages within two hours of them being delivered. Even so, it was less than 12 hours and they were delivered indoors. Never recovered and over a few days they continued to disintegrate. Disappointed as I was hoping these would really pop in my tank.

I love that they are easy to plant. With or without substrate. They do better with lots of substrate.
