not good for swimming laps

The shirt will likely be useful for being in the sun , but for swimming it did not work for me. Maybe it is too big. I got a small, I am 5'3 , 108 lbs. When i got in the water it kind if flopped around and created drag. I was hoping it would help me warm up in the cold pool I swim laps in.
