Definitely keeps the sun out of your eyes. I don't have to squint and get annoyed with the sun anymore and my eyes/forehead don't get tired. This cuts down on fatigue and allows me to glass longer which should lead to more opportunities. I like how it flips both ways if I'm Digi-scoping. Makes it easier to focus when looking in the direction of the sun, even with optic light saturation I can still focus better. If it's bright out, It's a must have. Especially here in AZ.

Great accessory

Works great, will not be found without it, however it has started to lose its shape and become slightly deformed from being smashed inside my bino harness. It still functions as it should. If I got another one I would pull it on and off and keep it in my pack with my tripod adapter and pull it out as needed, as not to smash it.
