Why did Deering change the cover or lid ?

It is a Deering and has the quality of a Deering. A couple inches longer than my older one. The cover is harder to get your banjo in as you have to slide it in under the cover rather than lay it in. But it is still a good product and protects your banjo. The service from Banjo Studio has been excellent. I have already ordered more goodies.
