Great quality and tone for the price

I’ve never had a less than excellent experience with the banjo ben general store. The twanger is my first Gold Tone banjo but it has really exceeded my expectations. It’s very playable, the intonation is spot on, their in- store setup makes all the difference. Thanks Jake!

After a new set of strings and a little tweaking, very nice. And it is loud!

A banjo to grow with.

Truly, I feel better about this banjo every time I pick it up. This is the first I've owned that is suitable for bluegrass picking, and I am very happy with it. The tone is clear and loud without sounding brash or tinny. Very responsive. Unlike other banjos I've owned, it stays in tune quite well. If there are any dead spots on the neck, I have yet to find them. This is my second instrument from the General Store, and they've never steered me wrong. Thanks, guys!
