This is the second piece I've used from Morgan. I've got a Kind of Blue for my alto and love it. This led me to picking up a piece for my tenor. I had borrowed a Drake to try and wasn't 100% happy. The Morgan just showed up last week and I've had about 5 hours on it. I am in love once again with a Morgan piece. The ease of playing the horn top to bottom is impeccable, smooth like butter - I had to really push my lower register on the Drake, now it is just a steady stream of air and the notes ring! No issues with tuning at all and the altissimo is strong. Love this!

My Mouthpiece search is over!

I have finally found a mouthpiece that produces the jazz sound I hear in my head. And that mouthpiece is the Morgan Excalibur. It has just the right amount of edge, core, and flexibility. It accepts my air stream effortlessly and lets me play the altissimo range as easily as the low notes! Wow! I am very happy!
