Worked, with some mods

Well-made, though very tight fit in a nominally 27.2 mm seat tube: cut off 10 cm to make inserting more manageable. The single-bolt clamp was a bit fiddly to fit onto saddle rails w/o the bits falling off, but is secure once fastened (didn't fit carbon saddle with oval cross-section rails, but worked fine on saddle with round cross-section metal rails)

Grand Cru Seatpost

I almost didn’t purchase this seatpost due to other reviewers having issues with reassembly. I’m happy to report that reassembly of the clamp wasn’t difficult and I mounted a Brooks Cambium saddle. Post looks great and unbeatable at this price!
