Velox bar plugs: no more lost plugs and no more bruised knees. Soft black rubber. These are for road bars, not MTB size bars. Note that they don't work with VO bars without modification - the plugs are a bit too big. You can grind them down...

not like the old ones
Velox changed their design or maybe started to offshore their production. These are not as nice as the old style. For some reason the nut and star washer just spins endlessly when I try to tighten them. Sad that an old, loved classic that worked flawlessly has been changed.

Nice ends that don’t scratch like metal
These fit into my Salsa Woodchipper, bar end ID ~21.5mm. Didn’t need to tighten too much. I just like the hard rubber since I’m leaning against hard surfaces like my stucco wall but also protects other more delicate surfaces.
