The picks play smoothly, no pick noise and very mellow tones. Frankly, they are a little too quiet in a noisy jam. For parlor or porch picking they are great.

JP Fast Turtle Flat Pick

On the mandolin, using Gibson Sam Bush strings the JP Fast Turtle pick produces a very mellow extremely pleasant tone. The pick moves fast and very smoothly . In a jam held outside I had to switch Back to a Blue chip pick because the JP just was too quiet to compete with normal outdoor noise.
