My Root Pouches Are a Total Success

Buying the root pouches was an experiment. I wanted to see how they worked on my deck veggie garden (we share our yard with deer, ground hogs, moles and voles). I ordered the smallest size for that reason. I planted summer squash and cucumber seedlings in the three bags and placed them in trays that hold about 2” of water. I am absolutely tickled by the successful and fruitful plants that have grown in the bags. I don’t know how well the bags will hold up in future years, but I appreciate that they are not plastic like many of my other pots and that they will, once dry, fold up for storage. I plan to purchase the larger sizes next year.
