LMR's Oud Oil from Vietnam is sweeter and less intensely animal than the better known Oud Assafi from Firmenich. This will sit more politely in your blend, though make no mistakes about it, this is unmistakably oud: dark, foreboding and rich. It also has a price point that is less jaw-dropping.

My very favorite Oud
I absolutely love this Oud. I hope after my review there’ll still be some for me to buy. It’s slightly intense but just the perfect amount. So fragrant. I love it on my wrist/hand w nothing else snd to my woe I’ve been using it in way too many compositions. Just lovely. I carry a tola with it mixed w a few other things in my pocket at all times. Love me some Vietnam Oud.
