My experience with GG Offroad, working directly with Katie and Austin, was excellent from start to finish. Communication was completely transparent and forthcoming throughout the process. They were more than willing to help me figure out the best possible setup for relocating my mounts to accommodate a Defender Smart Cap, guided me through choosing the right mounting brackets, and when I ended up needing to swap out cap models mid-process, they didn't hesitate to help me work out an alternative mounting solution as well.
As for the kit itself — the cables are high quality and braided, and I have zero concerns about their durability or overall build quality. The mounts are 3D printed, which is a nice touch, and they feel sturdy and well-designed, offering plenty of stability and mounting versatility for various cap setups. The kit comes with essentially everything you need to get the job done. If you want a little extra shrink wrap for added wire security beyond what's included, you certainly can — but honestly, it's not necessary. They've clearly thought through every detail of this kit and eliminated the guesswork.
They also have plenty of setup videos available on their social media pages, which makes installation even more approachable. For anyone planning to run a cap full-time and wanting a clear, unobstructed line of sight while still keeping the factory tech functional, this kit is genuinely a no-brainer.

This was the most well thought out system that I have installed. The directions were detailed and the camera mounts just right. Since there were two cameras built into the 3rd brake light, we reinstalled one in the camper for the customer to check on his dogs while driving and one on the back of the shell to see behind the truck while driving.
We had the same situation on a Ford Super Duty, but had to make our own cable and 3D printed the rear mount. No one made a relocation system for it.

Easy install! Even came with a video. It has been working perfectly for our Tacoma trailhunter!
